The Story
The job market is noisy. Northstar finds the signal.
Project Northstar began as a personal problem: too many job boards, inconsistent postings, vague salary ranges, disappearing opportunities, and no clear way to know which roles were truly worth applying to. Instead of applying blindly, I designed a system that thinks like an analyst — scanning, scoring, comparing, and prioritizing roles based on skill fit, resume alignment, certification relevance, salary target, and long-term career growth.
Fragmented search
Roles are spread across LinkedIn, Indeed, Job Bank, government boards, company career pages, and niche IT hiring sites.
Not every match is worth it
A job can match keywords but still be weak for salary, commute, long-term growth, or cloud-career direction.
Career intelligence engine
Northstar ranks opportunities using ATS alignment, cloud relevance, salary fit, career path, and application readiness.
